I know I am a little late to give this news but I just couldn’t help posting about Scale Matrix’s opening of data center in San Diago. Even I just found out about it via some other website. Anyways for those who don’t know about or have heard about Scale Matrix for the first time, it’s a cloud and colocation hosting provider. With cloud hosting the fascinating thing is that you don’t need to buy hardware, servers, routers and all others stuffs. All you need to do is just drag and drop the modules in an application and everything else will be done and configured automatically.
Recently, Scale Matrix has announced the opening of its 50,000 sq. ft. data center in San Diego, California with the sole purpose to provide cutting-edge cloud hosting solutions and high-density, high efficiency colocation space. Why San Diego? Because it’s the place where IT is prospering like a fire and to better serve this community San Diego colocation was opened.
Even though new, Scale Matrix has already established a reputation in the market with its heavy investment in facilities and personnel, strategic relationship with critical hardware, software, and support service vendors. But being hasn’t been a problem for it at all. Instead, one of the benefits it got being a new facility is the luxury of using the current data center hardware which are more efficient that the previous ones. So, when its competitors are using the old hardware, Scale Matrix is able to give of course a better service because of the new hardware. The clients range from small start-ups to big enterprises and all seem to be pretty happy with the service it’s been able to provide. I hope the San Diego collocation is just a beginning and it is going to get only better.
