Easiest SEO for your website

So, I am into this internet marketing stuffs. People assume that it’s easy … all you need to do it stay in front of your computer, do stuffs, browse, and make money. Well, it’s a lot and by a lot I mean a LOOOT difficult than what it looks like.

A friend of mine once asked me what is the easiest way to rank your website or page on top in search engines. Actually I had no answer to that. It’s what everybody wants and you search over internet and you find millions of articles written about SEO and internet marketing and stuffs to do to rank your website to top of the search engine. Trust me, I’ve read and tried most of them. From high content creating to, link building to posting in forums, groups, everything and there is no sure shot way of doing so.

If ranking in Search Engine on top is all you want then you can just pay for Google adwords or yahoo ads and get your website on top. Easy as that. It’s not long term but then it works.

Facebook's IPO price: $38 per share

Everywhere I see; all over the world; there is only one news today. The mother of all news!!! Finally, Facebook did it. The social networking giant has now been officially listed on NASDAQ stock market. It has raised a massive $16 Billion in I.P.O. on Thursday, in an initial public offering that valued Facebook at $104 billion. That is one hell of an IPO; more than 9 Google IPOs. And as of tomorrow Facebook will be worth about half of what Google is worth now. Can you imagine how big Facebook is now? Facebook shares are priced at $38 per share and are expected to increase as the stock starts trading around 11am today.

According to FB official statement: "Facebook (NASDAQ: FB Today announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 421,233,615 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $38 per share. The shares are expected to begin trading on the NASDAQ Global Select Market on May 18, 2012, under the symbol "FB." Facebook is offering 180,000,000 shares of Class A common stock and selling stockholders are offering 241,233,615 shares of Class A common stock. Closing of the offering is expected to occur on May 22, 2012, subject to customary closing conditions."

This IPO of Facebook is 3rd largest in the history of America (after Visa and ENEL). Who could have imagined that this eight year old social networking site will someday be such a hit that it’d make history? Right now, everyone just seems to want a piece of Facebook. But the question is can is justify its mammoth valuation because a $104 billion market capitalization puts Facebook at more than 100 times its trailing earnings. So, obviously it will need to figure out ways to make revenue else the investors are going to pull Mark’s hair.

Facebook Acquires Instrgram For 1 Billion

Instagram is a smartphone application that allows users to add filters and effects to a picture captured by your phone and share it with your friends. When started it was available for iPhone only but later this month they launched the Android version too. They have reported to have 30 million users since their launch in 2011.

But the question is does that make it worth $1 Billion? Facebook, the largest social networking site is all set to pay $1 billion in cash and shares for Instagram to its developers. Yeah, I know it’s shocking. It came to me as a shock too. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced the deal on his Facebook timeline a couple of days back; just months before Facebook is expected to go public.

Instagram is a free app and they have zero revenue till date. All of a sudden they’ve jumped to a $1 Billion mark and that is probably the biggest achievement in the history of any company in such a short interval of time. Even though it has been acquired by Facebook, it plans to let the popular photo app to operate independently from the company.

May be it’s time for Apple and Facebook to unite

Yesterday Google dropped a bomb over Apple and Facebook by unveiling “augmented reality glasses”. This gadget is going to change everything I believe; the way we share, the way we communicate, the way we live. Check out the cool video below that they’ve come up with and you’ll get a hint of what I am talking about.

Even though this is just a prototype video and the real thing might now be as they’ve shown in the video, I am deeply concerned about my personal fav Apple and Facebook. I am not sure how they are going to cope with this brutal attack. Who is going to buy Apple iPhones and iPods when people can don’t even need to press anything to make a call or listen to music. Plus with these glasses you can share your location, find maps, chat, write your status and who knows what more it can do. Facebook will be swiped out.

So, maybe it’s time for both Apple and Facebook to put their ego aside and work together to counter this attack. Probably then they have some chances against the big daddy.

Which broadband to choose?

In present time, it won’t be too much if you say that Internet is one of the most important things that you need around yourself. But the problem that I’ve seen with most of the people is which connection to get and what type of internet connection will be better. And of course this is a valid question because if you get whichever cheap connection that comes knocking at your door, you might have to deal with problems like disconnected network or slow internet connection, slow download, or stuffs like that. So, you have to be very careful while selecting the broadband connection for yourself if you don’t want to end up regretting the rest of your life.

Anyways my brother is in London. So, he was asking me the same question few days ago and I had very limited idea of what kind of connections they have and their charges to give him an exact answers. So, I did a quick google and came to know about this BroadbandIn.co.uk which is a broadband deals, digital TV and home phone deal comparison site. As soon as you open their home page you can see the popular packages being offered in the market like fibre-optic broadband deals, mobile broadband deals, digital TV deals etc. Let me tell you some of them were pretty cheap as well as good config packages.

Then there is this search field where you enter your postal code and it’ll get the packages being offered in your locality and also compare them on the basis of different criteria. So, it’s easier for you to choose the best on that meet your need. I asked my brother what was his need like if he wanted cheap one with a little less speed or he need high speed with high download speed and stuffs and he got that one and he said it was a pretty good decision and that he’s happy with it. In case, you are also in similar dilemma visit this site too compare broadband deals and get the best one for yourself.

Facebook - Making Billions But Will It Keep It?

A high school drop-out and social networking site Facebook’s creator Mark Zuckerberg, who believes in deed more than faith at the age of 24 is the youngest self-made billionaire-says Forbes magazine. He was just in internet but now he’s on news, on TV, on radios, he’s everywhere; he’s the hottest news in town. Everybody’s talking about him and many high school students may even be thinking of dropping out from their college and start doing something on their own. But guys believe me it’s not that easy as it sounds. You may think that if Mark can do, then why not we? Well, if everybody starts thinking like that then we’d have billionaires all over the world, don’t we? Again, I don’t want to discourage anyone who’s trying to do something/some project on their own but don’t drop out of your college. You may end up regretting your whole life.

Well, I think it was a fluke that Facebook made billions. Mark may not agree with me; he might believe that it’s his hard work that paid off well but there is a little contribution from Mr. Gates too. I mean after all it is Gates who bought the 1.6 percent of Facebook’s stake for whooping $US240 million. If Mr. Gate would consider my blog or my domain StuffsForAll.com for some reason too and then pay a million dollar for it, then even I and my blog will be in hype for a time being. Then I’d be an instant millionaire too.

Man, I still can’t believe there are billions of psychos who are online all day long just to change their status and upload their pics and comment on other’s pics, play games, tell each other their like and dislikes, bla bla bla and it’s growing at between 3 and 3.5 per cent a week. Enough of all the criticism, I hope Mark doesn’t read this post else he might ban my account from Facebook. Hehe. One more thing, I also heard Mark stole the idea of Facebook from some of his college mates.

There have been many questions about will Mark and his fortune. Will he keep it for long? Will he die a billionaire? Or this paper billionaire is here to stay for just few years and will be trashed back to ground will the decreasing economy and stock price collapse. In any case he’d still have a little money to spend rest of his life like a Hollywood star. We’ll have to wait and watch till then I’ll change my Facebook status and right now to “Just wrote a post - Facebook-Making Billions But Will It Keep It?”

Is Facebook Taking Over Our Lives?

Guess what is the first thing I do after I wake up? It not that surprising thing but I log into my Facebook account and change my status. I write something that comes to my mind first and then publish it. I know it’s just a waste of time to be happy at when someone comments on your status or post but that’s what millions of people are doing these days.

Facebook and other similar social networking sites are taking over out lives. We don’t spend that much time in our office as we spend the time on Facebook. Status, Daily horoscope, Quiz, Tagging pictures, uploading funny videos and then commenting and re-commenting have become like a part of our daily lives. Ask who else but me. If I don’t check my Facebook in interval of certain period of time, I feel something missing and I feel restless. I am not punctual at doing my office work or getting to my college but I am punctual at doing work in Farmville and CafĂ© world. I am sure millions of people are too. I know it’s crazy but it’s somehow addictive. I rarely go out these days with friends because I have less time and lots of social games to play. Still I don’t miss a thing what is happening around me and my friends as Facebook keeps me informed about everything. So, the question is; Is Facebook taking over our lives? Yes, I will say but in a good way. There are negative aspects but every coin has two sides, doesn’t it?

Rumours of Facebook Ending on March 15th

I am a big time user and a fan of Facebook, a social networking site that has changed the way we use internet and why we use internet. Mark Zukerber, the founder of Facebook has been named the "The Person Of The Year 2010" by The Times magazine. Some people have even started comparing Facebook with Google. Nobody had ever thought that there would be something bigger than Google in the internet business for next hundreds of years. But Facebook somehow has proved everybody wrong.

Due to this sudden growing popularity Facebook has become enemy of many. People and big organizations have become jealous of its success and are constanty trying to figure out ways to get rid of it. And lately, there was this new published in WeeklyWorldNews.com stating that Facebook with shut down in March 15th 2011. It stated that Mark is very much in pressure and depression and he wants his old life back and hence he's shutting down Facebook for good. You know ofcourse this is a silly hoax new. C'mon why would anyone just suddenly shut down and multi-billion dollar website? I mean he'd probably sell it to Microsoft, Yahoo or Google rather than that and make loads of money instead, won't he?

This rumor spread like a fire across the world. WeeklyWorldNews got lots of publicity, which might be what it wanted but recently Larry Yu, Facebook’s Director of Corporate Communications gave a statement that “the answer is no, so please help us put an end to this silliness.”

So, guys cheer up!! Facebook's not going anywhere. There's still a long way to go. Lets keep Facebooking.

Create A Website In Wordpress

WordPress is one of the most popular platforms for weblogs but how many of you know that you can even make a website in WordPress. Just few tweaks here and there and you can easily create a website using WordPress. I’ll sketch a rough outline of how to create a website using WordPress. I’m sure you can find other details as much as you like over the internet. But there are few of the basics steps you need to follow:

  1. First thing you need to do is register a domain name. You can start with a subdomain like xyz.wordpress.com but it’s not a good option I’d say.
  2. Buy a webhosting account. I’d suggest shared inexpensive web hosting but one with Fantastico script installed. That way it’d be just a one click job to install WordPress in your hosting.
  3. Install WordPress using Fantastico or if you want to do it manually then check out http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress.
  4. Login in to WordPress admin panal; for your website you need to visit http://yourdomainname/wp-admin and login with your username and password you set up in the beginning while installing WordPress.
  5. Just add one post to the homepage. For the menu bars, add pages and don’t forget to delete the comments from the theme editor to give it a website look.

And that’s it. Go and give it a shot.

Don't Go After PR Domains

Today I learned a big lesson. It's been like a week that I was planning to buy a PRed domain and start a new blog. I had done that before also with and made huge money with it but it was a long time back. I didn't know that Google's algo has changed so much. I thought it was going to be a piece of cake. I can easily find PR3 - PR4 domain for under $70 and in a week's time I can easily start a back ordered posted PR3 blog and start making money out of it.

But it wasn't meant to be that easy. I bought a domain for $60 from with PR3. It didn't have any backlinks but it has a valid PR and was chached also and had site info also in Google. I checked the validity it using PR checking tools also and all were showing valid PR. So, I bought it. But to my surprise, as soon as I changed the hosting, the PR dropped to 0. And that gave me a shock. Then I started Googling out and tried stuffs like editing .htaccess files and other things but the PR didn't came back. After working for a week or so I had to give up on it and asked the seller for a refund. Luckily, the seller was a kind guy and he refunded my money and I returned the domain to him.

Moral of the story is never go after PR domains without doing a complete research.

Zuberberg's Facebook Page Hacked

Now, I don't know if I should be laughing at this news or not but this is really funny and I personally want to meet Mark Zukerberg and see his face. Hats off to that hacker who served him right. Mark must be a geek but he's not the only one smart. 26 yrs old Mark's Facebook page was hacked but an unknown hacker who posted a bizarre message calling upon the firm to adopt a social cause:

"Let the hacking begin: If facebook needs money, instead of going to the banks, why doesn't Facebook let its users invest in Facebook in a social way? Why not transform Facebook into a 'social business' the way Nobel Prize winner Muhammad Yunus described it? [LINK] What do you think? #hackercup2011"

1800 people actually liked this post. I'm not sure if then even read it. Facebook has made no public statement about how the hack occurred, possibly to save their CEO from embarrassment. Even I like what the hacker is pointing towards. One thing I personally don't like is that Facebook is making so much of profit but it's not giving much away when it should be to the community and people and it's being more and more profit oriented rather than user oriented.
I recently heard that Facebook isn't issuing public share sooner. which is again a big disappointment for its user and investors. What? Its wants to keep all the money in it's own pocket only? Plus, it didn't gave me a job. So, serve it right. bwhahahahah

High Speed Internet Wherever You Live

Nowadays internet is a basis necessity. Whether in urban areas or in rural area; people need internet for different purposes from communication to entertainment. Another thing is also true that time is money and we want to use fast internet rather than slow ones. I still remember those slow dial ups of 56 kbps I used to use. Things have changed and technology has taken a big leap. We don’t need dial ups. DSL, ADSL and cable internet has replaced them. But what about in places where cables can’t reach? The only possibility out in places like such is wireless satellite internet.
Hughes Net is one of America’s no. 1 satellite internet providers. They give you blazing fast, always-on, secure internet connection at a very affordable rate and you don’t even need a phone line connection. There is absolutely no competition between Dial-ups and Hugesnet internet. It’s more than 30 times faster than the Dial-ups. It is available anywhere you choose to live. It’s easy to set up as well as use and you can download even music files and videos in seconds.
There are 4 monthly speed plans of Hughes Net internet available at USSatellite.com starting from $59.99 month for casual web surfing for 1 computer to $189.99 month high speed frequent downloading internet for home or small office networks.
So, if you want to order just go and pick up a plan that suits you and schedule your installation. One more thing is that for satellite internet you need equipment. You can either take the equipment on lease for just $99 upfront and 9.99 per month lease fee or you can own the equipment for life for $299 after $100 mail-in rebate. The choice is yours.

Happy Birthday Firefox

I am a little late but still it’s better now than never. So, many happy returns of the day to Mozilla Firefox. Actually, the b’day was on 9th Nov but I forgot on that day. Just remembered it today when I went through their official Firefox blog. Else I would have missed it. So, 4 years mommy Mozilla gave birth to Firefox 1.0 which now have grown 3.1 beta. Just for the record, FF is my best browser. I’ve been using it for about 2 or more years now and it’s been a wonderful journey. I hope Firefox will continue to be the best browser in the world. One more time - “Happy Belated B’Day Firefox”.

Web Hosting That Fits Your Needs

This site of mine is published through a blogspot account. That means I didn’t require any web space to host this blog. It pretty cool but that was before that I came to know about WordPress which I personally feel is the best blogging platform. But the sad thing is that it provides free hosting for its subdomains only. So, to publish a blog in your own domain in WordPress, you need a hosting. Now that thing is that there are many free hosting providing services which I have tried too. But it was a tragic experience when a free hosting company where I hosted one of my domains got bankrupt. And it was just the beginning. They didn’t had any backup system…oh it was such a nightmare. All my months work was gone in minutes. I had to do everything from scratch.
Still, I had to find a web hosting but which one was the question that scared me. Then I came across few articles on web hosting in Web Hosting Rating. The articles were really an eye opener. Webhostingrating.com also had listed out and rated best web hosting providers based on customer satisfaction, affordability, reliability and dependability, site uptime and downtime, technical support provided, etc. I then choose one of the hosting based on customer satisfaction and I must say my decision wasn’t wrong. It’s been more than 6 months and there hasn’t been even a single complain. There are no words to thanks Web Hosting Rating. If you too are having difficulty finding the perfect web hosting for your needs do check webhostingrating.com. I’m sure it’ll be a great help.

Flash Content Can Now Be Crawled By Search Engines

Well this is a very bad news for me and for all the people who don’t use flash animation in their websites. I just visited jonlee.ca and came to know about this terrible news. The news is more than a couple of days old but that’s just my bad. Ohh!!! I forgot to tell you what the news really is about…:) but you must have guessed by the title of post by now.
Yes, from now flash contents will be crawled by search engines. On July 01, 2008 Adobe announced that they are teaming up with search industry leaders to dramatically improve search results of dynamic Web content and rich Internet applications (RIAs). It has been one of the biggest disadvantages for flash embedded site that they are completely invisible to search engines. But now with this teaming up with the search engines, I guess flash embedded sites are going to give a tough competition to other non-flash embedded sites. Anyways, this the future will decide what will happen but for now I am really in tensed mood.

Spark up your life with SocialSpark

I’ve been blogging for few years now and as years have passed by, I have kind of figured the way to make money out of my hobby. Blogging should actually be just for informative purposes only but a little extra money to sustain won’t be that bad at all, will it? Even with paid blogging if you stick to your niche, then it won’t do any harm to your blog or put a negative impact to the readers. But still opinion should be as fair as possible.
IZEA (owner of PayPerPost – a blog marketing site) recently launched a social media marketing site, SocialSpark.com that allows bloggers and advertisers to take on the next level of interaction by accessing each other’s readership information, realranks, and interests, besides monetizing their blogs. If you have a blog, you can sign up for an account and then add your blog there. Once your blog has been approved, it’s ready to make you money. You can take on the opportunity that you are allowed to take, complete it and make easy bucks out of it. The opportunities are really simple to do but if you trust me then you’d better stick to the niche. Running after money and blogging about random niches isn’t a good thing for you and your readers.
So, if you are having financial trouble but still want to blog for the love of blogging join SocialSpark.

Looking for a Web Hosting Service?

It’s always been my motto or whatever you call it but I buy things only after sufficient research and only after I am convinced that the product or service is really worth every penny I am paying for it. So, the first thing I do before buying anything is get to know about that thing well for which I ask and read reviews of people who’ve already used that product or service.

But the fact that I see when I surf over the internet so much is that most of the website point out only the advantages or benefits of the products making it more confusing in the selection. This is not the case with the WebHostingGeeks.com though. Here you can read real and unbiased customer reviews of major webhosting companies. They make sure that the reviews are unbiased and customers point out the negative aspects as well. Also if you are a customer of some company in the past, then you too can leave a review of your own about that company. I’m glad so that I landed upon this site and I recommend it my reader. Please do visit this site if you are looking for a web hosting service.
