Easy way to manage user account

To uses the computer you need to have a user account. There are different ways you can create a user account. The first way is using the Control Panal ->User Account. The process is easy and I think that most use this method to create a user account or change their passwords or delete a user account. This has been the procedure that has been followed over years but many might not know there is another simple and easy way to create, delete user account or change user passwords. The procedure is as follows:

  • Open run dialog box
  • Type ‘lusrmgr.msc’ (without quotess) and enter
  • The Local Users and Groups explorer opens
  • Right click the user and click New User … follow the procedure and a new user is created

You can even edit the properties of the existing user. Right click on the user’s name and go to its properties. Make changes and press OK. The changes are saved. One of the facilities that this process provides is that you don’t need to remember the old password to change the current password. In many cases it may be dangerous. Someone may easily change you password once you have logged in.
