In AdSense Quality Matters, Not Quantity

See people often have this misconception about AdSense thing that the more places you display the ads or the more sites, the more revenue. Well, let me tell you this if that would have been the case then I’d be earning more than $1k per month at least.

The revenue from AdSense is not in any way proportional to the quantity of the sites (well to some extend it is but very minimal extend). The actual equation is the AdSense revenue is directly proportional to the quality of the sites where the ads are different. It has been recommended by the Google’s AdSense Blog that if you’re a newbie one should take the time to build up ones site with plenty of original, quality content. Also while you’re designing your site, one should keep Webmaster Guidelines and, most importantly, the users in mind.

After that there are other things you can use such as Webmaster Tools to help increase the visibility of your site, some try out tips from the Search Quality Evaluators, Website Optimizer to understand how users interact with your pages and make improvements to your layout and AdSense optimization tips to learn which colors, formats, and placements monetize best on your site.

So the bottom line is, it’s not quantity that matters in AdSense but the quality that really matters.
