Controversies With GPS Tracking Technologies

There has always been controversies with tracking technologies. Yes, people have different ways of perceiving things and same is with tracking technologies too. Some think that GPS tracking system is pretty cool and handy. Especially with you have a vehicles or if you own a business related to cargo or transportation, then GPS vehicle tracking systems can be life saver. You can always track the status of your vehicle, and there will be very less possibility of it getting lost or stolen. So, yes it is pretty useful, isn’t it?
But some people might disagree though. They feel that GPS tracking invades the privacy of people and yes it is true to. Well, actually this is true too. If used improperly for wrong thing, the consequences can be a real pain. Like criminal’s can use this very same technology to carry out their criminal activities with effectiveness. Some employees (especially in the transportation biz) feel that they are being continuously monitored and feel as they aren’t being trusted and there is some kind of uneasiness while working. Obviously, you will feel uneasy if are being monitored 24/7, won’t you be?
So, yes GPS system are useful but as every coin has two sides, it has drawbacks too. Only a wise usage of this technology should be allowed else better avoid it.
