Here’s comes a competition for iPhone

The iPhone is one of the most talked-about multimedia mobile phone the world has even seen. It’s not that the iPhone is the best mobile phone out there…there are several other mobile phones (some expensive than the iPhone) that people might feel are better than it but it’s features such as multi-touch screen with virtual keyboard and buttons and minimal amount of hardware input can’t be neglected. Also the iPhone's functions include those of a camera phone and portable media player (iPod) in addition to text messaging and visual voicemail which is just fabulous.

There have been many other smart phones (Samsung F700, LG KE850, Neonode N2 TouchScreen, etc) trying to compete with the iPhone but frankly none of them has been able to give the iPhone a real competition. Well, lately Samsung has come up with Instinct smartphone, nick named as the iPhone killer. Similar to the iPhone, the Instinct in addition to being a mobile phone also functions as a camera phone, portable media player, text messenger, and a complete web browser and e-mail client. The look is also almost same as the iPhone but I don’t know I just have a bed feeling about this one.

Instinct features:

  • First Sprint consumer device with EV-DO Rev. A capability, playing online music, audiobooks, videos, TV shows, and movies faster than ever.
  • Completely customizable menu
  • Full HTML web browsing experience
  • Sprint GPS and location based services, visual turn-by-turn driving directions, one-click traffic rerouting and more than 10 million local listings
  • 2-megapixel camera with 2X digital zoom and video camcorder
  • Advanced Stereo Bluetooth Wireless Technology with audio caller ID
  • Full email and messaging experience
  • Thinner and lighter than other smartphones
  • Complete synchronization with your Mac or PC

Anyways let’s not jump to conclusions. We’ll have to wait for a while to see if this smartphone what has been named the iPhone killer really is a real threat to the iPhone or not?
