COWON A3

Whether movies, music or photos on the 30 or 60 GB hard disk with powerful TI chip set DaVinci finds everything. With a battery of mobile companion that shows up to 7 hours films on its large 4-inch TFT LC display (800x480) in 16:9 format. And it gets better: The COWON A3 is television (almost) everywhere possible and the the player can also be a digital television .

The COWON A3, successor to the many excellent COWON A2, shines with its huge range of video playback formats (AVI, WMV, ASF, MPG, DAT, MKV, MP4, OGM, VOB), and the support of DivX, XviD. But that's not enough: the player can send movies from TV, camcorders and video recorders in ASF-Format and plays it through an S-Video, composite or component output with a resolution of up to 1280x720 (HDTV) . About the component output, the COWON A3 films with up to 480 lines. In addition, the portable Multimedia Player also switches between different soundtracks and subtitles.

Even for music and photos lovers, COWON A3 is not too short: It comes with a battery charge for to 9 hours of music which can be played in MP3, MP2, WMA, OGG Vorbis, FLAC, WAV, MKA, TTA, MPC, ASF, WV and APE formats. Photos can be used as JPEG, GIF, BMP, PNG, TIF, and even RAW files on the On-the-Go function quite comfortably directly from the digital camera loaded on the player, bypassing the computer.
