There are many great registry tweaks but this time I am just giving out a simple tweak. Actually I faced this problem when there was some kind of virus in my computer system. The ‘Task Manager’ was disabled and when I tried to open ‘Task Manager’, it showed some message saying that ‘The Task Manager has been disabled by the Administrator’. So, I tried to find how I can enable my ‘Task Manager’ again. Here is a process how you can enable your task manager through registry.
- Go to Start -> Run
- Type ‘regedit’ without quotes
- Navigate to ‘HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System’
- In the right pane there is a DWORD value ‘DisableTaskMgr’
- Double click it and change it’s value to ‘0’
- Exit registry
Now, when you right click on your taskbar you can see that your ‘Task Manager’ is enabled.
