Ever wanted to change your hard drive letter or your cd-rom drive letter, then this is the tip that you are looking for. It’s very simple.
1. Click the start button
2. Go into Administrative tools ( in Control Panel)
3. Go to "Computer Management" (or in run dialog box, type "compmgmt.msc” end enter)
4. Under "Storage" in the left pane, click on "Disk Management"
5. In the right pane you should all the hard disk drives and cd-rom drives info
6. Right click the drive that you desire to change the letter then click on "
7. click the "change" button
8. select "assign the following drive letter", select the letter you want to assign to the hard drive or the cd-rom drive
9. click ok
10. click ok
(Note: You can’t change the drive letter of your system volume or boot volume )
That’s it. You have successfully changed the drive letter of the drive.

This is a pretty useful piece of information but now let's be honest, does anybody care about how's the drive named? If ti's D or E or H, who cares? I have like 5 partitions back home, and i just name them in a suggestive way. ;)
Ya , may be you are right to some extent but then if you think like that, this one is not for you..
