There are many things that we use daily and still go unnoticed. Simple things that we use but don’t care much or don’t even try to figure out why it’s happening or how it’s happening. Most of us must have used the ‘Send To’ option that is seen when we right click any file or folder. It has got many options like create shortcut in desktop, compressed folder, my document, etc. I’ve pasted a screen shot from my ‘Send To’ options in the right click in a folder. It has got an additional option ‘Shortcut to rajit’. Well if you all also like to have more options or remove options of the ‘Send To’, check out the trick to do it.
- First show all the hidden files and folders
- Start -> run
- Type ‘control folders’ (without quotes) and enter
- Go to ‘View’
- Files and Folders -> Hidden files and folders
- Select ‘show hidden files and folders’ and ‘OK’
- Got to ‘C:\Documents and Settings\username\SendTo’
- Add shortcut of any of the folder or even drive in here see the change
